Cameo Vineyards started as a dream in 1991 when we first planted 70 grapevines.  For nearly 11 years we grew grapes and honed our wine making skills.  Then, in 2002, Cameo Vineyards opened its doors.  Today, we have nearly 4,000 French-American hybrid grapevines, covering close to seven acres.  We crush approximately 35 tons of Illinois grapes each year and produce 14 varieties of wine, from dry to sweet, in reds, whites and blushes.  Our wines have won numerous regional and international awards, but it is more important to us that you, the customer, will find enjoyment from the fruits of our labor.

It is our pleasure to invite you and your family to visit us.  We have made every effort to create a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that will beckon you to sit, relax, and enjoy yourself, no matter the season or occasion.  We are committed to producing fine regional wines and providing our customers with warm, personal service.

We want your visit to be a wonderful experience.  Enjoy complimentary tastings, purchase wine by the glass, and browse leisurely through our gift shop.  We will gladly provide a tour of our cellar whenever possible.

We opened Aug 1st, 2010 and are a small family owned winery. We are nested back off the beaten path among the corn & bean fields. Our winery sits on a beautiful open area with a pond, woods and vineyard located behind the winery. We have outdoor seating on our patio, or picnic tables around the pond for you to enjoy that glass or bottle of wine. We offer 15+ varieties of wine ranging from dry to fruit sweet, and sparkling wines. You may try 6 wines complimentary, then after that it is $1.00 per sample. Summer Hours: Open 6 days a week, Winter hours: Open 5 days a week. Our wine ranges from 14.00 to 20.00 a bottle. We do not serve food, only cheese & cracker baskets. So you are more than welcome to bring your own food, but please no outside drinks. We are kid friendly! We have grape juice slushies for those under 21.

We offer weddings/receptions, comedy shows, murder mystery dinners, craft days, wine & yoga, Asian cooking classes and much more! Visit us today!

Beginning in 2008, the Swiney Family planted a two acre vineyard consisting of two varieties, Norton and Traminette.  Our journey from grapes to wine has led us to the restoration of our century old barn called Arpeggio Winery.

Arpeggio Winery is privileged to provide an amazing venue for a wide variety of events.  We can host weddings, corporate events, retirement parties, bridal showers, family reunions, celebrations, and gatherings of all kinds.
