7th Annual Imagine Hillsboro Cardboard Boat Regatta @ Hillsboro Lake – Hillsboro, IL

After 4 years the Imagine Hillsboro Cardboard Boat Regatta made a comeback last year and everything was right in the world. Many boats came, a few conquered, a few more sank, one winner was crowned.

2024 is hoping to be even bigger! Did we mention that there’s no rule as to how big a boat can be? That you can have more than 2 people in it (if you dare). This could get interesting

If you’re not sure exactly what one of these are, best bet is to look it up on Google and Youtube. This is an event that will be fun for all ages for both participants and spectators.

We will once again be launching the boats near the 4th of July Point. Plenty of spots to spectate from!

Entry fee is only $20 per team if you register by July 10th. $25 day of. Proceeds from the event will go toward Imagine Hillsboro Parks & Rec committee projects.

Participants must be at least 13 years of age (our insurance requires this)
