Summer Sundown Music Festival is about bringing together music lovers and artists of the eclectic music scenes across Illinois and the greater Midwest (and beyond) to foster an even tighter, larger community. Options range from 3-day weekend, a Sat/Sun only pass, and day passes – kids under 15 are free with a paying adult.
3-day Weekend Pass – $90 adv/$100 door
Thursday Pre-Party – Free to weekend pass holders/$10 at the door for everyone else
Friday only Pass – $30 adv/$35 door
Saturday only Pass – $45 adv/$50 door
Sunday only – $20 adv/$25 door
Saturday/Sunday Combo – $55 adv/$65 door
In addition to all the great music, Summer Sundown will feature yoga and sound healing, workshops, arts and crafts vendors, and local food vendors. Workshops are free for all patrons. Tips will be accepted.

Where is the festival held?
— Summer Sundown Music Festival is being held at The Reel Marina — 8724 E Marine Rd, Effingham, IL. 62401. For GPS, type: “The Stage @ Lake Sara”.
What happens if it rains?
— We get wet! Summer Sundown is a rain or shine event. We will take all precautions to ensure the safety of our guests. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be delayed. Please keep an eye on the weather conditions and dress appropriately.
Will I be allowed to re-enter?
— Paid attendees will be allowed to come and go from the festival grounds as they please with the help of a handy-dandy Summer Sundown wristband.
Is the festival open to all ages?
— Yes! Kids 15 and under get into the Festival free with a paid adult – maximum (2) kids per adult, please.
Are there hotel rooms and other accommodations available?

What is the parking situation?
— Parking is easy – there’s plenty of space in the fields across the street from our venue to accommodate vehicles large and small. Parking is free and within 100 yards. Handicapped parking will also be available.

Can I bring my own food and/or drinks?
— We will not allow you to bring your own alcoholic beverages within the concert area. There will be a variety of great food and beverages including water, soda, coffee, tea, beer and wine available for purchase. Of course, you can bring your own food and drink to your camping area.
What should I bring?
— An appetite for an eclectic mix of artists from across Illinois and beyond
— Sunscreen, bug spray, camping gear, yoga mat, swimming attire, a fun-loving attitude, and plenty of good vibes to spread around to your fellow festival-goers
— Feel free to bring lawn chairs or folding chairs of some sort. The venue has a limited amount of seating, but plenty of room for everyone to stake a claim and unfold a few chairs! Please, no high-back chairs or chair toppers/umbrellas – the people behind you want to see!
What should I NOT bring?
— Bringing your own food and drinks into the festival area is a No-No. There will be a variety of great food and beverages including water, soda, coffee, tea, beer and wine available for purchase.
— Audio and video recording on anything other than smartphones will not be allowed.
— Flash photography is also not allowed.
— Golf carts and similar personal motorized vehicles will not be allowed on the festival grounds.
— This should go without being said, but weapons of any kind will not be allowed into the festival.
I have a dog. He’s a very good boy – yes him is, yes him is. Can I bring him?
— We’d prefer you didn’t…but if you have no choice but to bring poochie…we shall allow it. Please make sure they are leashed at all times and up to date on vaccinations. We reserve the right to ask you to remove your furry friend if they can’t hang.
